I fioretti di San Francesco

The "fioretti" - or "small flowers" - of Saint Francis are beautiful short stories about miracles, friendship, faith, hope and love of the natural world. They retell the life of Saint Francis of Assisi who brought a message of peace to the world. This book recounts a few of the most famous tales such as Francis preaching to the birds and the tale of ferocious wolf of Gubbio.
