Including individual profiles of all the erotic essences from Jasmine and Lavender to Neroli and Bergamot, it describes their history, mythology and essential properties. sensual Aromatherapy also provides recipes alongside specifically devised massage programmes designed to ease sexual  tension, facilitate emotional openness and enhance erotic play.

Specially commissioned photographs illustrate the massage strokes and suggest ways of setting the scene and creating that very special sensual ambience.

Nitya Lacroix is a freelance author, journalist and teacher in the skills of massage, body awarness and psychotherapy. She is also Director and teacher at the School of Holistic Massage.

Sakina Bowhay trained at the London School of Aromatherapy and is a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists. She practises aromatherapy at several complementary health centres in south-west England.
