Drei Männer im Schnee - Erich Kästner

The millionaire Tobler has won second prize in a competition and a stay in the mountains under a false name. He takes his servant there with him, but wants to remain incognito so that he can study the people there unnoticed. In the hotel he meets the winner of the first prize and a friendship quickly develops between the three. But when the daughter suddenly turns up, drama comes to the mountain idyll.
