Jeremy Page’s poetry has been described as graceful, unpretentious, tender, sensitive, precisely observed, witty, surreal. His work has all these characteristics, but above all I experience the poems as infused with three vital qualities which give rise to all the others. First, they are made with an honesty and freshness that allows them to return so elegantly to the puzzles and pleasures of time and memory.
