”Conversational Narratives: A Hybrid Discourse Genre” is an study in the field of linguistic pragmatics, by using conversation analysis and microsocilinguistics as an extension of speech act theory, as well as in the fiels of applied linguistics by offering an analysis of a genuine Romanian conversational corpus. Trought it’s structure, the present study outlines an original theory of conversational narratives, proposing a reading... of these narratives. The corpus is highly relevant and excellently analyzes. The stories have been given titles, which permits us to identify them easily in the different moments of the analysis.
